GIANNI VERSACE Vintage Medusa & Grecian Key Chain Belt
A striking vintage Gianni Versace belt embodying the House's signature aesthetic: a combination of large, raised Medusa medallions and rectangular links featuring the classic Greek Key (Greca) motif.
The belt is crafted from gold-tone metal with a brilliant, polished finish. Its composition features medallions of varying sizes: some display a large, relief portrait of Medusa, while others feature a round "sunburst" design with a smaller Medusa image at the center. Geometric Greca links connect the medallions, creating Versace's instantly recognizable Greco-Roman style.
The reverse side of the medallions is neatly finished and also features a gold-tone coating. A section of round chain links allows for an adjustable fit, enabling it to be worn at the waist or hips. Thanks to its bold decorative elements, the belt resembles a piece of jewelry and can serve as the focal point of an outfit.
