Elegant collection of six large antique French crystal glasses, dating from the early 20th century, with examples produced by the renowned Meisenthal and Choisy-le-Roi glassworks.
Each glass comes from a different service and presents its own distinctive design. The generous bowls are adorned with an exquisite variety of engraved and cut decorations, including interlaced ribbons, delicate geometric borders, stylised foliage, scalloped motifs and fine linear ornamentation. Their varied stems and finely shaped circular feet the individual character of each piece.
Entirely handmade, the glasses naturally display subtle differences in height, proportions, shape and decoration. These variations are part of their authentic antique character and create a wonderfully refined yet eclectic table setting.
Thanks to their generous capacity, they are ideal for serving champagne or wine, and would bring remarkable French elegance and historical charm to a festive or sophisticated table.
Presented in excellent antique condition, with light surface marks and normal traces of time consistent with their age. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
