Cartier - Oval Silver 5 Set - Briquet de poche - Plaqué argent

Five vintage Cartier lighters with silver-tone finishes, fine guilloché-style lines and two more heavily textured patterns. The honest edge wear really caught my eye—each one has its own used-in-daily-life character, and the five-pattern group makes a strong auction display.

[Appearance]

A nice group of five Cartier lighters, each with a slim rectangular body and rounded edges. Three pieces show fine repeating engraved patterns, while the other two have a more irregular, cross-hatched textured finish.

The silver-tone surfaces show scratches, rubbing, small marks and general wear from age and previous use. Some edges and corners have visible finish wear, but this gives the group a convincing vintage character and lets the different surface patterns stand out nicely.

The bases are marked “Cartier,” “PARIS,” individual numbers, and “SWISS MADE” where visible. There are differences in wear and condition between the five pieces.

[Functionality]

The lighter will not ignite.
There is an issue—such as a gas leak, a faulty roller, or a stiff lid—indicating that the lighter is not functioning properly.

Since this is a vintage lighter, we recommend having it overhauled or serviced by a professional if you plan to use it for an extended period.

We have not thoroughly inspected the lighter’s other functions or internal condition, and these are not covered by the warranty.
