Set of three decorative porcelain plates with individually hand-painted botanical motifs inspired by the famous Flora Danica tradition.
The porcelain blanks were manufactured by Heinrich, Germany, as shown by the factory marks on the reverse.
According to the previous owner, the three plates were privately hand-painted by his mother in Denmark in the early 1980s. She was a creative amateur porcelain painter and was never employed by Royal Copenhagen.
Each plate features a different botanical motif, surrounded by an elaborate pink and gilt border. The decoration is entirely hand-painted, making each plate unique.
Diameter: approximately 16.5 cm each.
Period: Early 1980s.
Porcelain: Heinrich, Germany.
Decoration: Privately hand-painted in Denmark.
Quantity: 3 plates.
These plates are not Royal Copenhagen Flora Danica. They are privately decorated pieces inspired by the botanical style and tradition of Flora Danica.
