Kaori Makimura, Ryo's loyal (although sometimes reluctant) helper in his crusade against crime, takes the spotlight in this lot that features the lovely Kaori in this hand-painted production cel. Premiered over 40 years ago this anime adapted the Weekly Shonen Jump series City Hunter by Tsukasa Hojo. Hand-painted in expressive close-up images, on the 12 field cel setup. The cel is displayed over print background for presentation purposes with white archival tape. This artwork shows light handling wear, minor edge wear, paint debris on the drawings, and sections of linework fading on the cels.
