Exceptional antique Baccarat crystal decanter dating from the early 20th century.
The decanter features an elegant spherical body, a beautifully elongated neck and a refined decoration of finely engraved horizontal lines. This restrained geometric design allows the remarkable clarity, purity and brilliance of the Baccarat crystal to take centre stage.
The decanter bears an original engraved workshop number, reflecting its traditional handcrafted production.
The decanter itself is preserved in excellent antique condition, with magnificent clarity and only some light surface marks and discreet traces of time consistent with its age. The cut-crystal stopper is a later replacement and is not original to the decanter. It also displays some visible signs of age, as shown in the photographs.
