ROLLING STONES Beggars Banquet (Extremely rare 1968 British second pressing of the 1968 stereo LP with 10 tracks, featuring the blue “unboxed” Decca logo “ffrr” “
reversed matrices, and “written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards” on a single line; laminated gatefold sleeve with a photo on the front. Since most of the demand for stereo
releases was already met by the first pressings, this second pressing is much harder to find than the first. The cover shows only slight signs of wear, which really lets the beautiful, clean design shine, while the image on the inside shows minimal signs of wear. The labels show hardly any spindle marks, indicating minimal playtime for
this copy, which had only one previous owner, and the vinyl record is in exceptionally beautiful “Excellent” condition with just a handful of light scratches and retains a gorgeous dark sheen. This is a fantastic copy that was fortunate enough to be purchased by an owner who barely played it before putting it away, allowing it to come back to life nearly sixty years later! (SLK4955)
