distinctive vintage Mortima Mayerling 21 Jewels, dating approximately from the 1970s, featuring the characteristic rectangular “TV-style” design of the period.
The watch has a very attractive blue dial with applied hour markers, central seconds hand with red detail and a date window at 3 o’clock. The dial is signed Mortima – Mayerling – 21 Jewels.
It is powered by a manual-winding mechanical movement with 21 jewels, typical of Mortima watches from this era. Mortima was associated with the French Cattin watchmaking company, whose mechanical movements were widely used in these vintage models. �
