Le WE-308 est un bras de lecture de fabrication japonaise, apprécié pour sa fabrication soignée, sa précision mécanique et son design particulier. Note concernant le levage : occasionnellement, le mécanisme de levage peut descendre très lentement ou ne pas se baisser à la première tentative. Dans ce cas, il suffit de le remonter et de le descendre à deux reprises pour qu’il fonctionne de nouveau correctement. Il s’agit d’un comportement occasionnel du mécanisme et n’empêche pas le fonctionnement normal du bras une fois actionné.

Offered here is a SAEC WE-308, one of the most renowned vintage tonearms produced by the Japanese manufacturer SAEC. It is in very good overall condition and fully operational.

The lot includes the original SAEC headshell and the SAEC AS-500E Arm Stabilizer, an optional accessory specifically designed to complement the WE-308.

The WE-308 is a Japanese-made tonearm, highly regarded for its excellent build quality, mechanical precision and distinctive design. It is currently much sought after by vinyl enthusiasts and collectors of high-end Japanese analogue equipment.

Finding a WE-308 accompanied by its original AS-500E is less common than finding the tonearm on its own, making this set particularly interesting for SAEC collectors and for those looking to preserve an original configuration.

The tonearm has been tested and is working correctly.

Note regarding the lift mechanism: occasionally, the lift mechanism may descend very slowly or may not lower on the first attempt. In such cases, simply raising and lowering it a couple of times is sufficient for it to operate correctly again. This is an occasional behaviour of the mechanism and does not prevent normal operation of the tonearm once it has been actuated.
