The Yamaha A-300 and T-300 form a classic matching stereo combination from Yamaha’s 300 series. Dating from the early 1980s, this compact hi-fi setup combines a capable integrated stereo amplifier with a matching AM/FM/LW tuner.

The A-300 integrated amplifier delivers 30 watts per channel and is designed around straightforward analogue hi-fi operation. It provides the essential controls and inputs for building a traditional stereo system, making it suitable for connecting a turntable, tuner, cassette deck and other analogue sources. Contemporary Yamaha advertising specified 30 watts per channel with 0.05% THD.

The matching T-300 tuner provides reception of AM, FM and LW broadcasts. Yamaha equipped the tuner with a PLL multiplex system for FM stereo reception, combining classic analogue tuner operation with Yamaha’s characteristic clean styling.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
