​Up for auction is a magnificent and fully authentic Longines 0.800 Solid Silver Pocket Watch, produced around 1899. This piece features matching serial numbers on both the movement and case 828677, making it a high-value collector's example.

​The watch presents a original white enamel dial featuring striking red numerals and delicate gold dot minute markers along the outer rim. It is equipped with elaborate gilt Louis XV hands and a blued steel sub-seconds hand at the 6 o'clock position. Signed "Longines" below 12 o'clock.
​Case & Cuvette
​The 0.800 solid silver case is decorated on the reverse with fine engine-turned guilloché work centered around an unengraved coat-of-arms crest. The inner cuvette (dust cover) proudly showcases the relief engraving of the "Grand Prix Paris 1889" medals won by Longines at the Paris Universal Exposition. The inner case covers carry official Swiss silver hallmarks alongside the iconic Longines winged hourglass logo (EFCo / Longines).
