Description fournie par le vendeur
Elegant antique chest of drawers, dating to the early 20th century, circa 1920s–1930s.
The piece features a light warm-toned walnut veneer with attractive natural grain patterns, framed drawer fronts, and delicate geometric inlay-style decorative borders. The front is fitted with four spacious drawers, each retaining its original-looking brass-tone metal handles and central escutcheons, adding a refined period character.
The chest is topped with a grey-white veined marble slab, providing a beautiful contrast to the rich brown wood. The sides are simply panelled, while the straight legs and restrained ornamentation reflect the transition between traditional craftsmanship and early 20th-century furniture design
During its life, it has been restored by the Italian professional restorer.
Very good overall condition consistent with age and use; minor surface wear with splendid patina.
