Vintage DIMETRON men's watch.
Original Swiss Made, early 1970s.
Diver style, 5 ATM water resistant. That was of course back in his day; now, water resistance can no longer be guaranteed in any way, it's a collector's watch first and foremost...
40 mm in diameter.
Mechanical hand-windig, the movement is an EB8800, 17 jewels.
Date indicator, functional(no quick setting).
Bidirectional rotating bezel.
Beautiful black dial, original hands.
Antimagnetic, stainless steel back.
The watch has two crowns: the top one is for winding the watch, and the bottom one apparently has no function at all—I think it's just for design..
The strap is handsome, vintage yet still in good condition, and has a distinct diver style.
As you can see in the pictures, the watch is old and shows some signs of wear, but it has plenty of character and runs well for its age. However, keep in mind that it cannot be compared in any way to a new, modern watch. It is a collector's piece!
