Seltenes Ausstellungskatalog zu Enzo Cucchi, herausgegeben von der Galerie Buchmann in St. Gallen im Zusammenhang mit der Ausstellungstätigkeit des Künstlers in der Galerie. Die Publikation enthält einen kunstkritischen Text von Armin Wildermuth sowie eine umfangreiche Dokumentation von Cucchis Arbeiten mit zahlreichen Schwarzweiß-Abbildungen und Farbabbildungen auf mattgestrichenem Papier. Das Format beträgt 22 × 15,5 cm; erhalten ist auch der originale Umschlag mit transparenter Kunststoff-Schutzfolie.

Besonders interessant ist das vorliegende Exemplar aufgrund einer handschriftlichen Widmung von Enzo Cucchi an Luciano Bongiovanni, der auch der ursprüngliche Besitzer des Katalogs war. Dadurch erhält die Publikation einen besonderen dokumentarischen et sammlerischen Wert: Es handelt sich nicht lediglich um einen Ausstellungskatalog, sondern um ein persönlich gewidmetes Exemplar mit direktem Bezug zum Künstler.

Enzo Cucchi – Galerie Buchmann (St. Gallen) catalogue, with a handwritten dedication signed by Enzo Cucchi to Luciano Bongiovanni

Rare catalogue devoted to Enzo Cucchi, published by Galerie Buchmann in St. Gallen in connection with the artist's exhibition activity at the gallery. The publication includes a critical text by Armin Wildermuth and extensive photographic documentation of Cucchi's works, with numerous black-and-white reproductions and colour images printed on matt coated paper. The catalogue measures 22 × 15.5 cm and retains its original cover with transparent plastic dust jacket.

The present copy is particularly interesting because it bears a handwritten dedication by Enzo Cucchi to Luciano Bongiovanni, who was the original owner of the catalogue. This personal inscription gives the publication an additional documentary and collecting interest, making it more than simply an exhibition catalogue and providing a direct link between the artist and its recipient.
