The Dual CS 455-1 is a high-quality, fully automatic belt-drive turntable from German manufacturer Dual. Designed for convenient and reliable vinyl playback, it combines a precision-controlled DC motor with a dynamically balanced tonearm, adjustable tracking force and electronic speed regulation.

The CS 455-1 supports 33⅓, 45 and 78 RPM, making it suitable for both modern vinyl records and shellac 78s when fitted with the appropriate stylus. Its fully automatic operation allows the tonearm to automatically lower onto the record and return to its rest position when playback is finished.

The turntable is equipped with a Dual/Ortofon OMB 10 moving-magnet cartridge on many original examples, providing a detailed and balanced sound. The detachable headshell also allows compatible ½-inch cartridges weighing between approximately 3 and 10 grams to be fitted.

To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
