Berndorf - Service à café (2) - Plaqué(e) argent

Vintage German/Austrian Art Deco Silver-Plated Coffee Pot & Creamer Set by Berndorf (Alpacca Bear)
Description:
A magnificent vintage silver-plated coffee (or tea) pot and matching creamer/milk jug, crafted by the highly prestigious European silversmith Berndorf (famously known for its Art Krupp Berndorf luxury lines).
This elegant two-piece set beautifully blends stately Neoclassical lines with early Art Deco geometry. The pieces feature striking conical bodies, refined rectangular handles with vertical accent ribbing, a stylized acanthus/fluted decorative frieze around the midsection, and a beautifully finialed lid on the coffee pot. Made from the manufacturer's signature Alpacca base metal and heavily plated in pure silver, these items possess a luxurious weight, brilliant luster, and a high-end feel identical to solid sterling silver.
Dating & Hallmarks:
The underside of each piece is fully stamped with authentic, clear historical manufacturer codes:
The Famous Bear Hallmark: The iconic arched stamp featuring a standing bear flanked by the letters "AG"
(Aktiengesellschaft) at the top and
"ALPACCA" at the base. This "Berndorf Bear" is a hallmark of premium European craftsmanship.
• The Model/Serial Number: Stamped "8318", representing this specific elegant Neoclassical design in the historical factory registry.
• The Silver-Plate Weight Indicator: Stamped "20"
, a precise technical mark indicating the exact weight in grams of pure silver used to heavily coat the set, guaranteeing exceptional, generational durability against wear.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with a gorgeous, deep silver reflection and minimal signs of age.
The interior of both vessels is clean, and the lid hinge is perfectly firm and functional. Free of deep scratches or significant wear to the silver plating.
A standout addition to any high-end vintage table setting, an exquisite morning coffee service set, or a premier investment piece for collectors
