Vase - Porcelaine

Elegant three-piece decorative porcelain garniture by Empire Ware, E.J.B. Co., Stoke-on-Trent, England.

This striking set comprises two covered urns with ornate openwork handles and a matching three-compartment centrepiece. The pieces feature a deep cobalt-blue glaze, elaborate gilt floral decoration and oval or circular polychrome medallions depicting classical figurative scenes.

The combination of rich blue porcelain, intricate gold ornamentation and finely detailed painted scenes gives this garniture a distinguished and decorative appearance, ideal for a traditional interior or an antique porcelain collection.

The set is in good decorative condition overall, with some wear to the gilding consistent with age and use. One of the urns has localised damage and cracking around the foot/base area, mainly noticeable on close inspection. Please refer to the photographs for a detailed assessment of the condition.

The set is offered as pictured and would make an attractive display garniture.

A charming English decorative porcelain set with a rich cobalt-blue and gold finish.
