DESCRIPTION
At Caves da Cerca we believe that great wines begin with the passion of making wine. Every year we strive to rigorously select the best grapes from each region, to create contemporary wines using the best processing and winemaking techniques. Believing in the unique natural characteristics of each location, we initiated a series of projects with the aim of creating world-class white wines. These wines demonstrate great longevity, evolving favorably in the bottle for several years. When the grape varieties used have the appropriate characteristics, we use different winemaking techniques and aging methods that highlight the full potential of the wine. The process is monitored step by step by our winemaking team using the most appropriate processes for transmitting the characteristics of each terroir to the bottle. Every detail counts and the processes used result in fabulous wines that can be enjoyed by everyone. We try to convey our passion to an activity that we love and are proud of. We believe that when the consumer tries one of our products, all of this becomes noticeable.
The Ponte de Marante brand was born after the disappearance of the iconic Aguardente “Conde de Amarante” at the end of the 60s. Since the beginning, the brand has benefited from a high reputation and recognized quality by demanding connoisseurs in various markets all over the world. It is one of the reference brandies in Portugal and one of the most distributed nationally.

WINEMAKER: Nidia Martins.
