The famous von Wright brothers together with Bror Halberg illustrated hundreds of European bird species. A. Börtzell published these in 3 outstanding volumes 1917-1926. Today, more than 100 years later, these naturalistic etching reprints are still outstanding even by today’s standards, and they have aged very well on the paper, keeping the colours and vivid detailed.
