Description fournie par le vendeur
Paired masks with representations of faces inspired by Africa, in relief and decorated with bright colors. They feature reddish-toned faces, braided hairstyles, circular earrings and geometric facial markings inspired by the traditional scarifications of some West African cultures.
Their stylized expressions stand out, narrow eyes, slightly open mouths with visible teeth, and the contrast between the red of the faces and the dark and ochre tones of the hair.
The pieces have a flat and rough back, with small metal hooks for wall mounting. Vintage decorative objects inspired by traditional African art.
