Commode - Cerisier - style Louis XV

A charming hand-crafted Louis XV-style chest of drawers, custom made in solid cherry wood with stunning red oak drawer fronts. The drawers have bail aged brass drawer pulls in a classic period style. There is a secret compartment cleverly integrated in the center, ideal for valuables. Massive, heavy, quality build with drawers that still glide smoothly. There's natural wear & tear consistent with age: small nicks on the top and edges of drawers (visible in photos). Former signs of woodworm, now fully treated and no longer active. The wood has a warm orange–red hue and a refined patina that only decades of life can produce. Simply put, it's well-made lifetime furniture, charming, solid, stern, and built to last.
