Drawing of the legendary animator Richard Williams (1933-2019) ! (Dated 1977).
The great animator Richard Williams (1933 - 2019) attended a birthday party at the home of legendary animator Art and Barbera Babbitt in the fall of 1977. In attendance was a host of Art's friends including many fellow animation workers. After the dinner, Mr. Williams began drawing characters that he and other guests at the party had worked on. The character is drawn on 12" x 10" (12 field) 3-peghole animation paper. At the end of the party, he gave these drawings to Art Babbitt's step-daughter Laurel James. You can see the letter for her detailing the evening's events, is NOT included in this lot. The drawing show minor handling end edge wear. Condition is Very Good.
