The blue fiscal seal includes the Samvat date 1955 (c. 1898/1899 CE), with additional handwritten annotations in Urdu/Persian. A striking crossover between colonial-era bureaucracy and traditional Indian miniature painting. Technique / materials: gouache / watercolour & ink on antique paper (court fee stamp paper). Condition: aged paper with stains/toning; central punch hole within the seal; minor wear consistent with age. Origin: Jaipur (Rajasthan), India.
