The thicker cane dates to 1894 and features a beautifully engraved silver knop with elegant floral scrollwork. The shaft is made of dark-stained wood with a rich patina, showing age and use consistent with the late Victorian period. The slimmer cane dates to 1909 and is topped with a finely detailed silver handle with deep repoussé decoration. The shaft is lighter in tone and more refined in form, typical of early 20th century walking sticks. Both silver mounts carry clear Birmingham hallmarks, confirming authenticity and adding collector appeal. 1894 cane (thicker): Good antique condition – surface wear, minor marks, and age-related patina.
