This lot feature two blue pearshaped beer steins created in Germany in early 1800s and late 18th century.
Large Blue Pearshaped Stein - Attributed to a southern Germany workshop from probably first half of 19th century, its surface was predominatly covered in blue, afterwards handpainted with green and vibrant yellow coloured floral motifs. Its base was consolidated with a pewter ring and its lid is decorated with grape vines rich in grapes. Condition of the item is excellent, without any damages or restorations, showing slight traces of use.
Dimensions - Height - 21cm, Width - 11cm, Weight - 680g.
Small Bierkrug - Created most likely in Germany, in the late 1700s or early 1800s, this small stein feature an uncommon motif, a handpainted ostrich, surrounded by stylised plant formations. The item is in excellent condition, but apparently missing its pewter lid.
Dimensions: Height - 14cm, Base diameter - 5.5cm, Weight - 242g.
White Beer Stein - This large mug is of german manufacture, dating from the first half of 19th century. Decorated with painting of a flower arangement blooming from a pot. Good condition with some slight traces of use and some thin hair lines around the base.
Dimensions: Height - 18cm, Base diameter - 10.5cm, Weight - 627g.
