Antica fiaschetta/bottiglia da viaggio in peltro, di forma rettangolare con spigoli smussati, dotata di tappo a vite originale con caratteristico anello di presa. Sul fronte presenta una incisione con le iniziali “M.S.”, presumibilmente riferibili al proprietario originario dell'oggetto. Sul fondo è presente un marchio inciso/punzonato con motivo floreale e corona, non identificato con certezza. Il marchio potrebbe essere riconducibile alla tradizione dei produttori di peltro britannici. L'oggetto presenta una bella patina antica e segni di utilizzo e di ossidazione coerenti con l'età. Sono presenti normali graffi, abrasioni e tracce del tempo Antique pewter hip flask/travel bottle, rectangular in shape with chamfered corners, fitted with its original screw cap featuring a distinctive grip ring. The front bears an engraved inscription with the initials “M.S.”, presumably referring to the original owner of the piece. The base features an engraved/punched mark depicting a floral motif and a crown, which has not been positively identified. The mark may be associated with the tradition of British pewter manufacturers. The object has a beautiful aged patina, with signs of use and oxidation consistent with its age.
