His works merge action painting, tribal symbolism, and urban influences, creating a language that is both powerful and direct. Each canvas is painted with urgency and energy, often populated by mask-like figures, vibrant gestures, and explosive color fields. Mostly self-taught, Pixa studied painting with Suzanne Obrecht in Strasbourg and later with Frank Pieperhoff at Kunstgut Berlin. His background as a freelance graphic designer sharpened his visual sense and gave him the freedom to develop a highly personal and experimental approach. His paintings blur the boundaries between abstraction and figuration, rooted in the spirit of abstract expressionism while remaining unmistakably his own. Pixa’s career spans over two decades, with exhibitions across France and Germany. Highlights include St’art Strasbourg (2001), Galerie Rendez-Vous (2004), and Ateliers Ouverts (2003, 2006). In Germany, he participated in Kunst in Betrieb (Halle, 2009), Kunstgut Berlin (2010), and the 48 Stunden Neukölln festival (2011–2012).
