Each boxed set contains 13 singles, each one pressed onto an individual CD, in it's own card sleeve, featuring artwork from a worldwide release. In most cases the singles represent the original 7" releases, but in some cases the B-sides have been adjusted to avoid duplication, so that the only track to appear more than once in the same form is 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. Volumes 2 and 3 between them include the entire 'The Works' and 'A Kind Of Magic' albums. In total the sets feature 52 singles, and include three non-UK singles - 'Calling All Girls', 'Pain Is So Close To Pleasure' and 'One Year Of Love'. 'I Was Born To Love You' is included as a B-side only, despite being reaching no 1 in Japan in 2004. The sets feature singles artwork from the UK (29), Germany (3), Netherlands (3), Japan (3), Spain (3), USA (3), France (2), Mexico (2), Portugal (2), Belgium (1) and Hungary (1). The sets include a total of 110 tracks, and include the non-album tracks 'A Human Body' and 'Blurred Vision', plus the single versions of 'Back Chat', 'Pain Is So Close To Pleasure' and 'Who Wants To Live Forever', on CD for the first time. Volume 1 was released on 17 November 2008 and features singles from 1973 to 1979, from 'Keep Yourself Alive' to 'Don't Stop Me Now'. Volume 2 was released on 15 June 2009 and features singles from 1979 to 1984, from 'Love Of My Life (live)' to 'I Want To Break Free'. Volume 3 was released on 31 May 2010 and features singles from 1984 to 1989, from 'It's A Hard Life' to 'Scandal'. Volume 4 was released on 18 October 2010 and features singles from 1989 to 1999, from 'The Miracle' to 'Under Pressure' (Rah Remix).
