A rare moche monkey deity vessel having a rear cylindrical wide spout. Depicting a seated monkey deity having an open toothy mouth and ceremonial hairdress and bracelets. The simian holds a tambourine in his hands. Moche, Peru, 400-600 AD
Dimensions: 17,00 cm.
Condition: Surface wear but good condition.
Provenance: S. Fossa Collection since 1972 ( Caracas, Venezuela ). Thence by descent since 1980 by his son.

- The piece includes authenticity certificate.
- The piece includes spanish export license.

be requested by us, This process can take beteen 1 and 2 months.
