Embossed half-linen and two printed images on hard-cover with slipcase. 245 x 320 mm. 500 pages. 90 full-page black and white images in tritone. Text in English, Japanese, German.

Timm Rautert, born in Tuchola in 1941, studied photography under Otto Steinert at the Folkwang School of Design in Essen from 1966 to 1971. Among his recent book projects are: Gehäuse des Unsichtbaren (1992); Eigenes Leben (1994); Koordinaten (2000); Arbeiten (2000), and Deutsche in Uniform (2007). Rautert has worked since 1993 as professor of photography at the "Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst" in Leipzig.
