A vintage Japanese ceramic flower vase produced in the traditional Shigaraki-yaki style during the Showa Period. The vase features a classic crane-neck form with a long, slender neck and rounded body, designed for single-stem or ikebana flower arrangements.
The surface displays characteristic Shigaraki textures with a natural ash glaze, creating an organic brown-to-green gradient with subtle speckling. These kiln effects reflect the rustic wabi-sabi aesthetic for which Shigaraki ware is renowned.
The set includes the original black presentation box and a wooden display stand, making it suitable for decorative interior use, traditional flower arrangement, or collection as a piece of Japanese craft pottery.
