The Omega Seamaster 200M "Pre-Bond" appeared in the late 1980s (around 1987) and marked a breakthrough for the Seamaster line. The "Pre-Bond" name comes from the fact that this model preceded the 1993 Seamaster 300M, which became iconic thanks to the film GoldenEye (1995), where it was worn by Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
