NBN (Nuernberger Blechspielwaren) Balancing Elephant with ball & key - "Made in Germany". Sitting Circus Elephant in lovely strong colors from NBN. This is a original pre-war toy from NBN and not replica made later by Tuscher & Walther. The story about the later elephants with Tuscher & Walther marks, is that after the bankruptcy of NBN in 1972, large parts of the inventory and production equipment were purchased Tuscher & Walther. After wind-up, the elephant balances with the ball while his umbrella spins around. The clockwork is excellent working and the elephant can go on for a long time. The toy is all original including the ball. The balance rod can be dismantled from the elephant. The elephant is marked with: "Made in Germany”. See photos for the general condition of the toy.
