A set of 35 輪島塗Wajimanuri lacquerware* maki-e* small plates/bolws hand painted of Momiji which compared with other bowls, this set of Owan is so special which confirms the subtle beauty of Japan. Size: diameter 11*3.2cm *洗朱Araishu(Madder Orange) is one of the traditional colors that has been used in Japan since ancient times. As its name suggests, it is a reddish orange color, characterized by its warm hue. Araishu was already in use during the Heian period, and was used for the costumes of aristocrats and buildings. In particular, in Buddhist art, it is often used in the decoration of Buddhist statues and in the architecture of temples, and is considered a sacred color. The color has remained unchanged through the ages and continues to attract the hearts of Japanese people even today.
