Uchikake is traditional kimono made for weddings in Japan. It wishes for happiness and woven with auspicious motifs that is kind of flowers, pine trees, cranes and nature. That’s the beauty of Japan. Two phoenixes soar through the sky on the back and front, adorned with colorful flowers. The phoenixes embroidered in gold thread are magnificent. The base pattern of the fabric is O-gi (a fan).
