Foursquare Sassafras is a premium and powerful rum created by Foursquare Distillery in Barbados in collaboration with the Italian bottler Velier. As a single blended rum, it combines pot still and column still distillates from the same distillery. It was tropically aged for a total of 14 years – three years in ex-bourbon casks followed by eleven years in ex-cognac casks – and bottled at 61% ABV with no additives or chill filtration. The nose is rich and layered, offering notes of vanilla, dried fruit, coconut, and bold oak spice, enhanced by elegant cognac undertones. On the palate, it delivers a full-bodied, oily texture with caramel, dark chocolate, toasted coconut, and a dry, spicy oak finish that lingers long. One of 6000 bottles.
