Collector's item! Very special electric guitar! The unique (price-winning!!) design of this beauty catches the eye. The guitar was hand-crafted build by RKS Guitars in the USA. RKS-guitar was founded by Dave Mason (Traffic & Derek and the Dominos) and Ravi Sawhney (industrial designer). This special model represents thousands of hours in designing and testing. The Open Architecture design on the guitar allows the guitar to be tailored to many different ways of playing or different players. The front of this guitar is split into three parts. The body is molded polymer and the two open chambers are held together by aluminium rods. Symmetrical, double cutaway polymer body core, wood-base polymer body wings, bold-on Marple neck, 22 fred rosewood fingerboard This guitar has a particularly low serial number (see photo's) V31 917. The headstock on this RKS-guitar quotes the body's contours and incorporates the Om symbol into its unique truss-rod cover. By placing the pick-up selector switch in the acoustic cavity, you cannot only switch pick-ups on-the-fly, but you can flail away with reckless abandon without risking changing pick-ups mid-groove. The controls (Groove knobs) are weighted with polished metal-finished grooves that exemplify quality and precision.
