The damage must be reported to your local post office within 7 days of delivery, and promptly to us and Catawiki support. 【Product details】 This serene Buddha head sculpture, cast in bronze and mounted on a rectangular wooden base, represents Shakyamuni Buddha, the Historical Buddha. The piece originates from Nepal and dates to the second half of the 20th century. The calm expression, half-closed eyes and refined facial features convey a meditative sense of inner peace and enlightenment. The crystal-like adornment on the forehead (ūrṇā) symbolises divine insight and spiritual vision. The elongated earlobes recall the Buddha’s princely past before renouncing worldly life. The surface of the head shows natural patina, traces of dust and areas of age-related oxidation, which enhance its tranquil, aged presence. The wooden base has scratches and minor cracks, and the jewel on the forehead is mostly chipped. Overall, the sculpture remains in fair to good used condition. Please refer to the photos for details.
