Set of four antique German religious certificates and devotional chromolithographs, dating from 1891 to the 1950s, representing key Christian sacraments — First Communion and Confirmation. Printed in chromolithograph and photolithograph techniques, all featuring handwritten names, biblical inscriptions, and original wooden frames. 1. “The Last Supper / First Communion” – dated 1912, dedicated to Elisabeth Schreiter. A detailed chromolithograph depicting Christ offering the Eucharist to His disciples, surrounded by an ornate vine-and-grape border, symbol of the Holy Sacrament. 42 x 31 cm 2. “Ich bin das Brot des Lebens” – dated 1891, printed by B. Kühlen, M. Gladbach. Richly decorated with Eucharistic chalice, angels and the Lamb of God, with biblical verses (John 6:48). 43 x 34 cm 3. “Zur Erinnerung an die Konfirmation” – circa 1940–1950, Protestant Confirmation certificate. Features a solemn composition of a cross and crown of thorns, with verses from 1 Corinthians 6:20 and 1 Timothy 6:12. 36x27 cm 4. “Dies ist das Brot, welches vom Himmel herab gekommen ist” – dated 1902, printed by B. Kühlen, M. Gladbach. Central figure of Christ blessing the Bread of Life, surrounded by angels and saints.
