Important source: According to the collection record on the wooden box, in 1855, a collector named Sawai invited a friend to view it, and in 1856, he invited another friend to record the collection of this work. In addition, there are two letters introducing the collection process and one manuscript of authentication. The author of the authentication manuscript is Okura Kosai (1795-1862), a renowned ancient calligraphy and painting appraiser in the Edo period. Artist: Ikeno Taiga池大雅 (1723-1776), a famous literati painter and calligrapher of the Edo period, is known as the representative of Nanga painters together with Yusa Buson. His technique combines Chinese ink painting with the traditional Rin school of Japanese techniques, and combines Western painting to create a unique personal style. His works are part of the lifelong collection of Nobel Prize winner Kawabata Yasunari, and many national museums in Japan have his works in their collections.
