Eva Striker Zeisel Art Deco Porcelain Faience Coffee Set by Budapest Gránit Beautiful Art Deco porcelain faience coffee set from the 1920s by Gránit, Budapest. Gránit was a short-lived but highly acclaimed Hungarian porcelain and faience factory that operated from its founding in 1922 until its nationalization in 1948, producing exceptional functional and artistic pieces. From the 1930s onward, the factory increasingly collaborated with renowned designers. Among them was Eva Striker Zeisel, a Hungarian-born designer who worked at Gránit from 1926 and later gained worldwide recognition for her ceramic work created after emigrating to the United States. Another famous designer of the factory was Miklós Ligeti (1871–1944), known for his sculptures for Herend. Condition: In beautiful vintage condition, especially considering its age. There are a few minor surface scratches, and a faint hairline crack on one saucer (see final photo). These do not affect the beauty or value of the set. Dimensions: 1 pitcher: 18 × 12 × 9 cm 1 sugar bowl: Ø 8 cm, height: 8 cm 6 saucers: Ø 12.5 cm 6 cups: Ø 6.5 × 4 cm The photos are an integral part of the description. Beautiful Art Deco porcelain faience coffee set from the 1920s by Gránit, Budapest.
Gránit was a short-lived but highly acclaimed Hungarian porcelain and faience factory that operated from its founding in 1922 until its nationalization in 1948, producing exceptional functional and artistic pieces.

From the 1930s onward, the factory increasingly collaborated with renowned designers.
Among them was Eva Striker Zeisel, a Hungarian-born designer who worked at Gránit from 1926 and later gained worldwide recognition for her ceramic work created after emigrating to the United States.
Another famous designer of the factory was Miklós Ligeti (1871–1944), known for his sculptures for Herend.

Condition:
In beautiful vintage condition, especially considering its age.
