All fab four were wonderful of course. But John was no doubt the weirdest one. Popped up in strange places, worked with strange but gifted men and had a great sense of humour (Rattle yer jewellery!). Here on offer is a lot that tries to combine all that.

Four albums with John or a connection to him. They are in perfect order, near mint, closer to mint. The vinyl is all spotless, the sleeves nearly but show a tiny bit of wear.

Those in the know know of his close friendship to Harry Nilsson. The Beatles named him when asked who their favourite American group was. Seen often as the American Beatle, Harry struck up a close friendship with John and Ringo, forming a drinking clan The Hollywood Vampires that indeed became notorious. Mid-seventies his output diminished and almost stopped when John was murdered. He won two Grammy’s: Without you and Everybody’s talking (famed song of Midnight cowboy)

1. Pussy Cats. Made during Lennons ‘lost weekend’ with loads of alcohol and dope (on the cover there are childrens blocks on the rug under the table with D and S, meaning drugs under the table as a rebus). Half of the tracks are covers, the rest is original material. Musicians include Ringo, Keith Moon , Klaus Voorman. Even Paul showed up, with Stevie Wonder and joined. Those tracks are only available on bootleg. This record is an American Indianapolis pressing, recorgnisable by the original black inner sleeve with ref. to Buckminster Fuller and Derek Taylor books
RCA Victor, CPL1-0570, 1974, US. Gatefold Vinyl mint, sleeve NM++.
2. Nilsson Schmillson. One of his best records, including Grammy winning Without you. Wonderful musicians. Herbie Flowers, Chris Spedding, Klaus Voorman, Jim Keltner.
RCA, SF 8242/lsp4515, 1972, UK, Dynaflex pressing. Vinyl mint, sleeve NM++
3. The Ruttles. The Beatles were huge Monty Python fans. George famously entered in the movie business with them, and all four shared in the financing of The Life of Brian. Eric Idle returned the favor by releasing a most hilarious but musically near-perfect spoof of the fab four: Let it Rot/Cpt Ruttles Darts Club Band/Theatrical History Tour. Every single-title is also a pastiche and the album was accompanied by a ‘tv-documentry’: All you need is cash. This is a highly sought-after album.
. Warner, K 564549, 1978, UK, Gatefold sleeve with inserts and booklet. Vinyl Min t, sleeve NM++
4. And just for the fun of it: A Python album. The Monty Python Previous Record. You know what to expect. Even the ads on the inner sleeve are hilarious.
Charisma, CAS 1063, 1972, UK. Vinyl mint, sleeve NM++

The albums will be preciously packed and swiftly sent
