1) BALBLAIR: Founded in 1790 in the Highlands, Balblair is one of Scotland's oldest whisky-making distilleries and was also used as a filming location for the film "The Angels' Share" directed by Ken Loach.
This Balblair is a lot that was distributed in the early 1980s under the label "Pure Malt" and is famous as one of Ballantine's main malts.The bottle is the same as the Ballantine's from that time, and the word "Ballantine" is clearly engraved on the label.
A successor of the same type but labeled "single malt" was later released.
This Balblair, which is mainly made from raw spirits distilled in the late 1970s, is one of the most reliable old bottles and is very easy to handle.
