Thousand-Armed Kannon 千手観音 who covers all worldly benefits and saves people - Statua Legno - Giappone

This Thousand-Armed Kannon statue dates back to the Showa era. There is some discoloration and dirt, but no major damage such as tears in the hands. This Thousand-Armed Kannon statue embodies a pure and pure heart of compassion. Each hand holds a separate part. It is placed facing forward, demonstrating a deep heart of compassion. Its pure arms, folded and stretched, seek to save all suffering sentient beings. With its antique finish, it has been reproduced as a Buddhist statue exuding a solemn atmosphere. Its antique charm differs from the elegant Thousand-Armed Kannon statues with eleven faces and forty-two arms made in later times.
