Material: Silver with gilded back Technique: The stones are set on foil. This is a ancient technique that was used to bring the lustre of the stones to its best quality. This is being done by placing in the closed mounting under the stone a highly polished cone of silver foil. Diamond(s): Twenty senaille and rose cuts. A senaille is a simplified rose cut diamond, a small diamond chip with perhaps a few polished facets. - We understand that private buyers may expect diamond weights to be provided, but in the case of rose-cut or senaille diamonds, this is simply not standard practice among industry professionals specialising in antique and vintage jewellery.
