Condition : Good of its age with traces of ages and usage, It’s an old piece. The condition is poor, some embroidery is missing, and the mirrors are broken. And the robe has torn and repair which you showing in pictures. Please see all pictures carefully. • Style & Cut: The robe has a T-shape, common in traditional Chinese robes (known as “pao” or “changpao”). • Embroidery: It features extensive hand embroidery, with symbols, florals, and possibly dragons or phoenixes — often used in imperial or religious garments. • Borders: The sleeve and bottom borders include auspicious symbols and Chinese characters, possibly for “longevity” (壽, shòu), which is common in celebratory or high-status attire. • Decoration: Embellished with metallic threads and sequins or mirrors, which might point to opera costumes or ritual garments.
