This lot features a highly sought-after Hampden Estate Pure Single Jamaican Rum, part of the Trelawny Endemic Birds Series, titled Black Billed Parrot. Distilled in 2011 at Hampden Estate Distillery, Jamaica, this rum carries the LROK mark and was fully matured at the distillery under tropical conditions. It was bottled in 2020 after 9 years of ageing, at a natural cask strength of 60.9% ABV. This is a single cask bottling (Cask #292) with a very limited outturn of 245 bottles, of which this bottle is number 225. The bottling was selected by Old Whisky, highlighting Hampden’s iconic high-ester style and traditional production methods. Bottle size is 70 cl. The bottle is in good overall condition. Fill level is good and clearly visible in the photos. The label is intact. The wax capsule shows signs of handling and minor wear, as visible in the pictures.
