Absolutely stunning Herda table lamp. This very classy design is one of the most recognizable Herda designs the company made, and sought after internationally. The armature of the lamp is crafted from polished brass and has beautiful patina in line with the age of the lamp. The high quality linen cover has a cream color with a nice shine and a subtle decorative flower/plant pattern. The cover has some stains on one side, as can be seen in the pictures. The base of the armature has a small bulge on each side. The lamp is in a perfect working order. Herda Verlichting BV (1946 - 1997) was a Dutch lighting factory founded by the Daniels brothers in 1946, with its main location in Amsterdam and a second branch in Tilburg. Herda worked with some well-known Dutch designers from the studio in Amsterdam, including some top designers like Willem van Oyen.
