Finely decorated with elegant court ladies in interior settings, painted in soft famille rose enamels with colourful decorative borders. The reverse of each pot is adorned with poetic calligraphy and red seal marks.
The two pots form a true mirror-image pair, with the figures and interior scenes carefully reversed from one pot to the other, creating a balanced and highly decorative display. Such original matching pairs are increasingly difficult to find intact.
Of traditional orchid pot form, each example features a drainage hole to the base and is suitable for display or planting.
