Yoshida Denzai Distillery Single Grain Whisky, 1-Year Aged (2nd Edition) is a craft grain whisky made in Murakami City, Niigata, Japan. It was matured for one year in new American white oak casks, creating a nuanced flavor profile built from multiple grains.

This whisky is crafted from a carefully balanced mash of:

• 70% Grain corn (Hokkaido)
• 15% rye malt (Imported)
• 15% 2row malt (Imported)

Please enjoy the taste gradation created by the interaction of these three grains with the fresh oak cask.

Personally, I enjoyed this whisky as a Mizuwari (whisky mixed with water), which brought out its sweetness and paired wonderfully with chocolate, while as a highball, it was an excellent match for smoked foods.
